I am so happy to be in Weatherford ISD.  I have spent almost my entire teaching career in WISD and my husband and two sons are Roos for life as well!
I am the Social Studies department chair and I teach United States History to 1877 Honors and on-level and I am the National Junior Honor Society co-sponsor.

Here is some information that you may be interested in for 8th grade history classes this year.

We are covering American History from Exploration to Reconstruction!
This year your American History class will cover American History from the Explorers who found the New World, to the division of our country during the Civil War.  We will study things like the 13 Colonies, the Revolutionary War, Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Civil War.

I am so EXCITED to share this unprecedented year with you!

We are going to learn great things together!

You can reach me by email or phone message any time and I will answer you as soon as possible.  My conference period is M-F 8:05-8:55.
