Javier Lopez

Mr. Lopez is honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Hall Middle School. Since entering education in 2003, he has had the opportunity to serve students and families in both middle, and high school settings across both public and charter schools.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lopez has served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, district compliance coordinator, attendance clerk, registrar and several other support roles. Most recently, he served in Aledo ISD, where he taught History and College and Career Readiness while also supporting students through Academic UIL and other extracurricular programs. These experiences have given him a broad perspective on the many people, systems, and relationships that work together to help students succeed.

Mr. Lopez earned his bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University and is currently in the final phase of his Master’s degree in Educational Administration at Texas A&M University.

He believes leadership begins with service and that strong schools are built through meaningful relationships, high expectations, consistency, and a commitment to making decisions based on what is best for students. He values the opportunity to support teachers while helping students grow academically and personally.

Outside of school, Mr. Lopez enjoys spending time with his wife, Amber, and their Cowboy Corgi, Addi, reading, exploring history, and perfecting Texas barbecue.

Mr. Lopez is proud to be part of the Hall Middle School family and looks forward to continuing to serve its students, staff, and community as we demonstrate each day that Roos are Built for More.
