Welcome to Mr. VanRite's 6th Grade Science class!

I am excited to be entering another school year at Hall Middle School!  This is my 15th year in education.  Throughout my career, I have taught 8th Grade Science, Biology, Chemistry, and CTE Principles of Technology Physics.  Before becoming a teacher I served as a Marine Science Technician in the United States Coast Guard.  

I am a proud graduate of Weatherford High School, I attended Weatherford College, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Texas State University.

I live in Weatherford with my wife, Martrice, who is the PE Teacher at Curtis Elementary.  We have two children: Koen (19) and Norah (16).
