Ian Troub - 7th Grade Science/Boys Coach

Introduction:

Ian Troub comes to Weatherford ISD with experience teaching 7th and 8th grade science, 8th grade math and high school Algebra 1. He is an avid sports enthusiast, having played football, basketball, baseball, golf, power lifting and track as well as both indoor and sand volleyball in college intramurals. He is a tremendous resource for students and staff and is a valued member of the Hall Middle School science department, recently receiving the Shirley Hall Middle School "Newcomer of the Year" in the 2025-2026 academic year. Last year, Coach Troub led his 7th B Volleyball, 8th B  Lady Roos Basketball, and 8th Grade Lady Roos track teams to Lone Star 8 District titles. This year he will be coaching Football, Basketball, and boys' Track.

Bachelors of Science - Communications Studies/ Journalism and Broadcasting from Tarleton State University
