My name is Nohemi Gonzalez, I am a native Spanish speaker, and I was born in Durango Mexico. I studied at Baptist University of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas and earned my bachelor’s degree in arts/theological studies with minor in Religious Education. I am married to my wonderful, kindhearted husband for 17 years. I have two beautiful, handsome children whose ages are 16 and 11.
This is my second-year teaching 8th grade Spanish 1 at Shirley Hall Middle School, and I am thrilled to receive my new Spanish students! We will have so much fun learning and exploring about Spanish countries, their culture, food, costumes, etc.! One of my favorite verses is "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord" and I apply this verse very much in my everyday life specially with my Spanish students.
