Hello Mathematicians! My name is Mariah Fuqua and I am so excited to be your math teacher. This year will be full of number talks, practice games and doing math! I look forward to watching you gain confidence in your abilities and achieve your full potential. If math isn't your best or favorite subject, that's ok! I will be there every step of the way to support you anyway I can and make it as hands-on and worth your time and effort.

7th Grade Math

7th grade standards focus on utilizing problem-solving strategies within multi step problems and situations to expand on previous year’s content. Students will use previous knowledge to develop new connections to assist them on their math journey.

7th Grade Honors Math

This fast-paced, rigorous class is designed for students needing to be challenged beyond the 7^th-grade curriculum. In honors, we cover both 7th and 8th grade standards, while exploring problem-solving strategies and interacting with the curriculum on a deeper level. Students will gain insight on how to make learning connections that will assist them on their math journey.
