Dear Hall Middle School Families –
We look forward to welcoming almost 1,000 students to Hall Middle School on Monday, August 28! Our school hours are 8:05 am to 3:35 pm. As we prepare for the first day of school, we know there will be heavy traffic around our new campus.
Tips for Student Drop Off and Pick Up at Hall Middle School
If you are driving your child to school, please plan to arrive earlier than normal to allow for traffic congestion. There are two student drop off areas for parents to use at Hall – Bowie Drive and Charles Street.
Bowie Drive (South Entrance)
Parents will enter the drive beside the Hall Middle School marquee and make your way around the drop off loop. We encourage parents to approach the campus from the south to avoid having to turn left into oncoming traffic to enter the campus. As you make your way around the drop off loop, please help us keep the line moving by pulling forward. We have designated a drop off area for students to exit vehicles alongside the campus. For the safety of our students, please do not drop students off until you reach the designated drop off area located along the sidewalk at the campus. When exiting the drop off loop, parents will turn right on to Bowie Drive.
Charles Street (Near the Softball Field and Tiffany Trail)
Parents may drop students off on the back side of the campus near the Softball Field and Tiffany Trail. Students will follow a marked path that will take them to the back of the Hall Middle School campuses where they can enter the school.
The bus lane is located at the north end of the campus off Bowie Drive. This drop off loop is for buses only. Parents may not use this area to drop off or pick up students.
Reminder: Parts of the Hall Middle School campus are still under construction. There is no walking access from the District Services Building parking lot to Hall Middle School because of construction fencing. Parents traveling on Charles Street to drop off students will need to use the area near the softball field.
We appreciate your help as we work to make the first week of school a safe and wonderful experience for our students, families, and staff.
