The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation and the Jerry Durant Auto Group are teaming up for the 14th consecutive year to host a school supply and backpack drive for WISD students. The drive supports the Education Foundation’s School Supply Closet and will take place on Saturday, August 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jerry’s GMC. The event features free hot dogs and soft drinks courtesy of Wallace Insurance Agency and a live remote broadcast by 99.5 The Wolf.

The Foundation’s School Supply Closet provided backpacks and supplies to over 1,200 students annually since 2003. Weatherford ISD parents needing supplies for their children should contact their campus principal, counselor, or teacher. Requests are handled anonymously by the Education Foundation and supplies are available throughout the school year.
